TÜKƏNMİŞLİK SİNDROMUNUN NƏZƏRİ TƏHLİLİ VƏ ALİ TƏHSİL MÜƏSSİSƏLƏRİNDƏ AKADEMİK HEYƏTƏ TƏSİRİ

Hazırda ali təhsil müəssisələrində çalışan müəllim və akademik işçilərin işi təkcə dərs deməklə bitmir. Onlar həm də elmi məqalələr yazır, tədqiqatlar aparır, müxtəlif hesabatlar hazırlayır və əlavə olaraq inzibati işləri yerinə yetirirlər. Bu qədər müxtəlif işlərin eyni vaxtda görülməsi onların üzərində böyük iş yükü yaradır və zamanla yorğunluğa və stressə səbəb olur. Bu məqalə ali təhsil müəssisələrində fəaliyyət göstərən akademik heyət arasında tükənmişlik sindromunun yaranma səbəblərini və onun iş fəaliyyətinə təsirlərini araşdırır. Tükənmişlik əsasən üç formada özünü göstərir: emosional yorğunluq, işə qarşı laqeyd münasibət və işdən əvvəlki kimi məmnun olmamaq. Bu hallar elmi araşdırmalar əsasında izah edilir və Azərbaycandakı universitetlərdə müəllimlərin üzləşdiyi əsas problemlər də nəzərə alınır. Məsələn, dərs saatlarının çox olması, tədqiqat üçün imkanların azlığı, kifayət qədər dəstəyin olmaması və iş tələblərinin getdikcə artması onların işini daha da çətinləşdirir. Araşdırmalar göstərir ki, bu vəziyyət müəllimlərin motivasiyasını azaldır, onların psixoloji vəziyyətinə mənfi təsir edir və işdən məmnunluğunu aşağı salır. Nəticədə həm müəllimlər, həm də ümumi təhsil keyfiyyəti bundan zərər görür.
Abstract (EN)
Today, academic staff are required to carry out teaching activities alongside academic publishing, reporting, research responsibilities, and administrative duties. Inevitably, these responsibilities increase workload and contribute to long-term occupational stress. This article examines the causes of burnout syndrome among academic staff working in higher education institutions and its impact on job performance from a theoretical perspective. In addition, the three main dimensions of burnout, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment, are analyzed based on existing scientific literature. The study also reviews the challenges faced by academic staff within the higher education system of Azerbaijan, including heavy teaching loads, limited research opportunities, insufficient organizational support, and increasing professional expectations. Previous studies indicate that burnout negatively affects teachers’ motivation, psychological well-being, job satisfaction, and professional performance. Furthermore, prolonged occupational stress may reduce academic productivity and weaken engagement in teaching and research activities. The article emphasizes the importance of conducting empirical research on burnout in Azerbaijani universities in order to better understand the problem and develop effective institutional support mechanisms for academic staff.
